The primary objectives of RIAWA are:
- To develop, improve and promote best practice standards for all aspects of revegetation;
- To develop and facilitate training and accreditation systems for the revegetation industry;
- To promote the interests of the Association and its members;
- To promote reputable conduct by members;
- To educate practitioners, clients and regulatory authorities in matters of professional interest;
- To promote informed debate about revegetation matters and procedures;
- To promote sustainable revegetation and restoration systems;
- To promote protection of biodiversity through revegetation/restoration practices;
- To promote social and professional contact between members.
